Contestant Rights and Obligations

Contestants acknowledge and agree that any intellectual property provided by Mathema Contest is for personal and non-commercial use only. Contestants shall not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or modify contest materials
• Create derivative works based on contest content
• Publicly display or perform any contest materials
• Use contest materials for commercial purposes

License Grant

Contestants grant Mathema Contest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display any content, feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other materials provided by the contestants for the purposes of the Mathema Contest, including promotion and marketing.

Prohibited Activities

Contestants are strictly prohibited from engaging in any of the following activities:

Cheating and Dishonesty

• Plagiarism: Submitting work or answers that are not the contestant's original creations.
• Unauthorized Assistance: Receiving or providing unauthorized help or information during the contest.
• Use of Prohibited Materials: Using any materials, devices, or resources not explicitly permitted by Mathema Contest.
• Impersonation: Participating under false identity or credentials.

Behavior and Conduct

• Harassment: Any form of harassment towards other contestants, staff, or judges will not be tolerated.
• Disruptive Behavior: Actions that disrupt the normal functioning of the contest.
• Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to contest systems or data.

Consequences

Mathema Contest reserves the right to disqualify any contestant found engaging in prohibited activities. Disqualification may result in:

• Forfeiture of any prizes or benefits
• Ban from future competitions
• Legal action in cases of serious violations
